1950's Bandai Japan-ZUNDAPP JANUS TIN CAR-8 Red/White-Excellent C-9 Condition! Zundapp Janus 4 door 1950's Bandai. 8 inches long, complete all original. Does not appear to ever have been played with very much. Very light wear top of sun visor area.

Friction motor works well, both front and rear door open well. Very light dings on front bumper and two tiny areas of discoloration on rear chrome window frame. The chrome has been hand polished clean and really pops. Some VERY light dings to roof, you have to look for them to see. The car is in VERY nice condition overall and presents as a high grade item....

One of my favorite cars ever. Janus was the Roman God of beginnings, and statues depict him with faces on the front and back of his head. Similarly this strange car has a opening door in the front and in the rear with seats facing in opposite directions. On sale between 1957 and 1959 it never really caught on a Zundapp wisely concentrated on motorcycle production.
